What is Multiple Sclerosis

Approximately over 900,000 adults are living with multiple sclerosis in the United States alone.

Multiple sclerosis is a disabling incurable disease where the immune system causes irreversible damage to nerve cells in the central nervous system this results in symptoms which can include weakness, vision loss, imbalance, memory impairment, and walking difficulty. Everyone’s experience with multiple sclerosis is different, and these losses may be temporary, long, lasting, or even permanent.

As a result, many people with multiple sclerosis are unable to continue working and many must turn to their friends and families for help.
